Corey Harris Trio was formed for the 2013 Airlie Beach Music Festival and to promote the original works of Corey Harris. The music crosses many genres from the funky sound of Beasty Stylin to the raspy Blues feel of Back To My Roots. The original trio consisted of Corey Harris singer/songwriter, lead and rhythm guitar; Pete Vincent, Airlie Beach drummer and Rob Dart on bass guitar. Gavin Earea has since replaced Rob and is the local bass guitarist for the band.
