Mainly self-taught on the guitar, he began writing songs and wrote his first song at 12. He has always been keen to get up on stage, and was invited up to play, by many bands and artists in his youth. Moving around Australia, from the cold southern oceans, to the deserts of the red centre and to the northern tropical rainforests.Experiencing life, music, and people in so many different places and ways, is what Corey says inspired and shaped the unique style he strives for in his sound.
